Our disposable uterine stent is a physical barrier device manufactured from medical-grade silicone, designed to address the high recurrence challenges of Intrauterine Adhesions (IUA).
Intrauterine adhesions primarily result from endometrial basal layer injury during intrauterine operations. Even after hysteroscopic adhesiolysis, raw intrauterine wound surfaces tend to re-adhere, leading to high adhesion recurrence rates and poor reproductive outcomes for women of child-bearing age.
According to the Chinese Expert Consensus on Clinical Diagnosis and Treatment of Intrauterine Adhesion, physical support devices are Grade-B recommended anti-adhesion therapy. This silicone stent physically separates wound surfaces to prevent re-adhesion and is also applicable to other hysteroscopic surgeries with large intrauterine wound areas.
Rounded edges perfectly conform to uterine cavity anatomy, avoiding excessive compression on uterine side walls and protecting endometrial blood supply. A full range of sizes adapts to different patient uterine cavity shapes.
Built-in drainage groove ensures smooth discharge of intrauterine fluid, effectively reducing postoperative infection risk. Soft silicone material minimizes irritation and pain of the cervical canal.
Supplied with a special dedicated inserter for straightforward clinical manipulation. Manipulation holes enable convenient hysteroscopy-guided placement and retrieval. Moderate material flexibility allows smooth passage through cervix. Surface protrusions provide reliable anti-displacement fixation, preventing stent dislodgement.
Stent body adopts soft medical-grade silicone; inserter is made of medical-grade plastic. Pre-sterilized single-use product eliminates cross-infection risk and simplifies hospital clinical workflows.
