The RF Plasma Bipolar Hemostatic Electrode is a specialized surgical tip designed for compatibility with the DE910 plasma surgical system.
Using saline or human body fluid as the conductive medium, it produces a highly-oxidizing thin plasma layer measuring 50-100 μm around the electrode tip. With 3-5 eV energy output, this plasma layer breaks organic molecular chains to achieve molecular-level tissue separation and hemostasis.
Unlike conventional high-frequency electrosurgery, electric current does not pass through the patient's tissue. This provides key clinical benefits including low operating temperature and minimal thermal penetration, while preventing tissue charring. It also reduces harmful surgical smoke to safeguard medical staff in the operating room, making it widely applicable across multiple open-surgery departments.
Breast & Thyroid Surgery: radical mastectomy, breast reconstruction, breast lymph node dissection, open thyroid surgery
Orthopedics & Spinal Surgery: total hip replacement, spinal fusion, scoliosis surgery
Head-Neck Surgery: neck tumor resection, flap transplant surgery
General Surgery: liver-surface hemostasis and other open-surgical bleeding control
