DAMAI dissolvable polyurethane nasal hemostatic dressing functions as a high-performance intranasal splint designed for postoperative nasal compression hemostasis and wound support. Manufactured from medical-grade synthetic polyether-polyurethane material, this innovative nasal packing dissolves naturally within approximately one week after implantation, eliminating painful manual removal and secondary tissue trauma.

Specially developed for ENT minimally-invasive nasal procedures, DAMAI delivers controlled elastic compression for rapid hemostasis, reliable anti-adhesion protection and sustained wound-site support. Unlike animal-derived hemostatic materials, it contains no biological ingredients to lower allergy risks, bringing superior comfort for patients and simplifying clinical workflows for surgeons.

How to Use

Aseptic access: Open sterile package and take out dressing with forceps, maintain full aseptic conditions.
Trim to fit: Cut the sponge into proper size matching surgical wounds and nasal cavity anatomy.
Place into position:
- Option 1 — Direct placement: Apply directly onto bleeding wound for compression hemostasis.
- Option 2 — Presoaked placement: Soak before implantation to realize local drug sustained release for mucosal healing.
Post-operative management: Allow natural dissolution; residual fragments may be cleared by saline irrigation or suction 3–7 days after surgery.
